Photos: First Crown Prince in modern Oman history gets married in royal ceremony

The first Crown Prince in modern Omani history, Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham, tied the knot earlier this week.

Several pages covering the nation's royal affairs shared photographs and videos from the ceremony. Citizens of Oman even took to social media to congratulate the Crown Prince.

Photographs and videos widely shared online show the Crown Prince, Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham, standing next to his father, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman.

According to Arabic media reports, the bride, Sayyida Alia bint Mohammed bin Hilal bin Hamad Al Busaidi, hails from one of Oman’s most prominent families. Reports also say that her uncle, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, is the Governor of Muscat.
